This is legitimately one of the BEST games I've ever played.

It's cute. It's funny. The OST is ridiculous.

The puzzles and movement system are so weird and oddly satisfying. From start to finish, I had a blast exploring and trying to piece together what I was supposed to do to collect items.

The game isn't necessarily long or complex if you pay attention to what the NPCs have to say about the world. And there are plenty of odd little quirks that make it possible to cheese areas that are challenging.

I cannot recommend it enough. It's clear the dev put a lot of love and care into this game, and it shows—an absolute gem of a game.

This weird little walking sim/experience is always on my mind when I talk about Steam games with friends. I am absolutely obsessed with the design, lighting, just everything about it is gorgeous.

I've played a lot of weird and wonderful free to play games but this one is always at the top. Short, a little bit creepy and aesthetic. It's free and you've got time to kill. Just play it.

I'm not really a puzzle person. I don't usually catch on to what I'm supposed to do but I am so glad I bought this game. The puzzles are challenging but pretty intuitive. The game play builds on previous puzzles but doesn't feel repetitive. The writing is interesting and provides that extra bit of drive to keep going and find every little secret. 10/10 would recommend.

Pros
- Beautiful environments
- Great voice acting and music
- Intriguing story
- Cool check point gimmick

Cons
- Graphics are intensive (Frame rate problems)
- Certain puzzles can require outside knowledge
- Has a lot of biblical illusions that might be lost on the first play through

This game has been sitting in my Library collecting dust for a couple years. I can't believe I've been putting off playing it for so long! The character dialogue and voice acting are believable and high quality compared to other visual novels I've played. The art style is unique and still manages to be a bit creepy when it needs to be. Although the stories are short, they have just the right amount of tension and personality to keep me invested. It's also refreshing playing a visual novel that's not in the relationship/romance genre.

I really enjoyed the interactive choices in the Jill Count storyline even though the options were limited. I would love to see more stories like this on Steam. 10/10 would recommend. It's a fantastic game to play when you have an hour or two to play something casual.

For a free survival game of this size and a Minecraft esque aesthetic I was very suprised at how much care was put into it.

Pros:
First off, loved that I didn't have any overheating or lag issues.
The developer seems to be very active so the game is constantly getting updated.
Community workshop has tons of great mods and maps to play.
Crafting options are extensive and you can create some pretty cool things.
Single player and private server hosting are options so you don't need to put up with cheating or overly aggressive players.
Game mechanics are pretty easy to grasp.

Cons:
I highly reccommend playing with friends on a shared server. Otherwise it can get kind of boring and grindy after a while.

If you enjoy casual game play with strong story driven content I highly reccommend this game. It's short, enticing and allows you to unravel the story as you go in a non linear fashion. The characters are believable and relatable thanks to the writing that you experience through Marie's Journal excerpts. For a short game Marie's Room manages to provide a strong story, atmosphere and intrigue. I really enjoyed this experience.
