My friend wanted to leave a negative review saying the following:

However game is alright if you want an easy to get into fighting game and/or into Granblue Fantasy. Decent characters. Nerf Seox, thanks.

Before you read this review, note that my negative score is purely for the recent changes coming into the game. Primarily the censorship. I genuinely enjoyed the small amount of time I spent with the game and the artstyle really made it a good spectator sport for me to watch whilst playing other Fighting Games.

The goods:
- Great fighting game
- 6 button fighter that's complicated
- Anime as hell for being very cartoon-y
- Fun references for Fighting Game fans, like Alice being more or less Sol Badguy from Guilty Gear.

The bads that came with the new changes:
- The removal of the armbands was easily the biggest incel thing I've seen. Just because a soldier wears a red armband doesn't indicate a nazi, and shouldn't make you think as such. If you do, you're clearly butthurt by literally anything that has an opinion.
- The genuine censorship of artwork in of itself is a straight up insult to the artists that painstakingly drew these beautiful pieces of art for this game. You should be ashamed for thing this was a good move.
- Skullgirls in of itself has always had a risque nature with its artwork, nothing on the level of straight up porn, but very much implied. Censoring this ♥♥♥♥ is dumb and goes against the essence of the game's initial vision.
- Adding MORE tongue to the various imagery honestly makes it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ worse. It genuinely looks more sexualised than before.

Oh by the way, this game is genuinely the greatest experience I've had with any game, ever. It was the first fighting game I ever played outside of a casual level.

Would highly recommend playing it, even if you are unfamiliar with all of the characters. I quite literally got the game only as an alternative to P4AU, since that is apparently never getting a PC port. So yeah.

Play this game, go into lobby 1-1, play Blitztank, ezclap fools.
