Dota 2 is a real-time strategy game in the sub-genre called MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena). It is a direct sequel to the popular Warcraft 3 Modification. This game has been picked up by Valve corporations and is being worked on by none other than one of the original creators of the Warcraft 3 Modification. After its official launch on the 9th July 2013 it has been a massive hit in the MOBA genre. With it being the number one game on the free to play list on steam and arguably being on par with the largest contender on the MOBA market - League Of Legends.

The game corporates a large roster of playable heroes which are instantly available with gameplay which can offer ten times the amount of strategy and depth compared to any other game on the MOBA market. This combined with players who are working on the game for other players and the fact that the game is trademarked by steam. Dota 2 also has a large competitive scene including the annual “The International Tournament” held by steam.

I totally recommend Dota 2 to anyone with a computer. The ability to play casually or professionally with your friends really is awesome! xD 94/100
