casual tf2 medic main here (rofl). i am not an fps vet. i don't have hours of aim maps, learning proper recoil and how to shoulder peek a sniper under my belt. the extent of my fps experience over the years consists of me dabbling in casual cs with voice enable 0 on (heh). i'm a gentle & passive soul who listens to german world music with 0 aggressive bone in my body.

but i bought this game. on my own accord. (no e bfs gifted or persuaded me to, pinkie promise). and i am absolutely glued to my seat. it's challenging (there's a bit of a learning curve that's essential to perfecting peeking without giving your enemy too much of your player model, known as "leaning".) i'm also not used to jump shotting let alone countering this, so that characteristic was also a bit peculiar for me to encounter. however, there's an endearing & rewarding aspect to this game. it relies solely on raw aim, strategy and map awareness. if you're competitive in nature like i am, this game is highly fulfilling. it definitely caters towards its own unique player base of old school fps fanatics, so i can't see it really winning over a good portion of the OW community. i do enjoy it as i'm a bit older and grew up spectating my dad play 1.6, so there's a bit of nostalgia for me as well in that respect. it does lack flash (which i like), and focuses more on tactics. i personally dig the minimalist vibe without the bells and whistles. i can see where slight improvements are necessary, but the toxicity isn't nearly as rampant and i have yet to find an individual discourage anyone from continuing with their journey of progressing. i'm very happy and i hope it's successful, i'm looking forward to its future.

CS:GO Review
it has been about 7 months now since i first began playing csgo.

i'm still bad.

....but my skins are much cooler as opposed to when i first got this game.

don't give up though, even if you don't feel you're improving. you are, but you can't always see it or feel it when you're DMing against people ranked a+ in esea or LEM in mm unfortunately.

currently i am still unranked in comp but i look forward to progressing and bettering myself until i feel mentally ready. i look forward to updating my progress nonetheless.

update: switched to cs:s xD
