So I haven't been around for a while and I apologise for that. I got super burnt out on GMod and I couldn't deal with it for a while. I also got pretty overwelmed. However, I believe that I may like to get back into it a bit. I made sure the website was completely up to date yesterday and now I'm going to start brainstorming about what a newer TTT server might look like. Just thought I'd let you all know that I'm not dead.

I must say, it has been a wild ride this past year and a half. So many things have happened in my life and I’m in places I never even thought I would be. When I first started YinYang Gaming, I told myself it was out of necessity. We had just come off the very sudden shutdown of Tetanus Gaming and many players were looking for a new place to call their home. I took about a week and threw together some stuff and made a half-way decent server that I put up under the name NexGen Gaming. We have been on a roller coaster ever since then. We’ve had our ups and our downs. Ultimately though, I believe it is time to close the doors on the TTT Server.

Trust me, I don’t make this decision lightly. I have been mulling it over for the past few days. Ever since the update, I have been very stressed over everything server related. I no longer feel that I can continue to make the server what I wish it to be. It has taken on a life of its own and I can no longer steer it back to the original vision. However, one of the larger things that has led to this decision is how it has affected all of you guys. Through the life of the server, I have seen good people turn bad, staff become corrupted, and friends become enemies. This server has had negative effects on many people. What started out as good has turned sour and is slowly moving toward a breaking point. I refuse to let it come to that. For that reason, I have decided to shut down the TTT Server. I feel this is the best course of action. I know many of you will be sad to see it go. I too am sad to do this, but I do feel it is for the best. However, there I believe there is hope.

I would not like this to be the end of our group though. I have met some really great people through the creation of our community. I really do enjoy talking and playing with you guys. I really don’t want the end of the server to be the end of the community. Perhaps without the server, some of the tension will be released and we can come together once again. I firmly believe that we can survive and even thrive without the server. Our community is strong enough to endure. For this reason, I propose that we move away from being just a server-specific community and become a more general gaming community.

In order to better facilitate this kind of change, I would possibly keep the forum and also open up an official and large voice chat server that we could use whenever playing together. Ultimately, it is up to all of you though. I have no power to keep you here. I hope that you will choose to stand with our community as we move together through these uncharted waters. I know that together we can move toward something great. I hope we can take this journey together. I will leave this post open for comments. Please talk to me and let’s make this into something great.

Here is your once-in-a-blue-moon reminder to go visit the forums. I put up some things I would like some feedback on, and it would be great if several people actually responded.

We recently pruned the forums of lot of users that we believed were spambots. If we got you in error, remake your account. We also disabled a lot of users that have not been around for a long time. Hello everyone Spartan2496 is back from Seattle, upon my return I saw that our ranking has taken a step in the wrong direction. Now I know that most people are getting ther computers fixed but that shouldn't be the reason for our draw backs. Today I have gotten permission from ChosenOne to hold this event. I will be giving away points of varying ammounts from my personal bank of points. When each goal is reached I will be giving out points for each accomplishment that we have made and reward those who have brought us back.

With that said, here is our first goal. I would really wish to see our server get out of the above 1500 rank system. If we can do that I wlil be giving out 500 points for that accomplishment. Below I will make a list of what I would like to see happen with our server.

1. Server rank 1500. Reward = 500 points for everyone.

2. Server rank 1000. Reward = 1000 points for everyone

3. Server rank 750. Reward = 2000 for everyone

4. Server rank 500. Reward = 2500 for everyone

5. Server rank 250. Reward = 5000 for everyone

6. Server rank 100. Reward = 6000 for everyone

7. Server rank 50. Reward = 6500 for everyone

8. Server rank 25. Reward = 7000 for everyone

9. Server rank 5. Reward = 10,000 points for everyone

10. This one seems like its going to be challenging but it may be possible, Server rank 1. Reward = lots of points.

If we can accomplish these goals we could be one of the best servers in gmod. Now I don't expect that our server becomes great overnight, but toegther as a community we can accomplish anything. With this beig said I hope you all have a nice night.

Also, Chosen has added several new weapons, maps, and addons this update as well. Among the changes:

* Raging Boner exchanged for the Remington 1858.
* P90 is back, and a similar weapon (I forget its name) has also been added.
* Double Barrel shotgun reworked: it now fires one mega-shot with a very long reload time, and can aim down ironsights.
* All weapons can be purchased for one round only by everyone for a set number of points,
* Buying Traitor has doubled in price,
* New MOTD with a new and improved rule set. Rules are here.
* New admin addon. You can now submit reports against players and admins. They can be handled after the offending player leaves, or when an admin comes on if there is not one present at the time of offense.
* Several new maps were added, and the map vote addon has been tweaked a bit.

There are a few more, but I don't remember them all, and I can't see anything as I type this. Ask Chosen for more details.
