As you can see, the vast majority of games on those lists are visual novels, partly because stories about romance in general and m/m romance in particular are more common in visual novels than other game genres, and partly because that's just what I happen to be most familiar with. Oh d'oh I missed it.

Not sure why she doesn't release it on Steam other than maybe not wanting to deal with forum trolls and asshats. Originally the issue was the adult scenes but she's censored the version on itch, with a downloadable patch of course.

Full version of Camp Buddy https://www.blitsgames.com has been out for a while (and it's still being updated with new content). Anyone play it? Any good?

I own Camp Buddy and it is great, but very very long. It took me a whole week just to finish my first character route. I'd say the length of the game is less like yaoi games like Full Service and Bacchikoi, and more like the American yaoi game Coming Out on Top. So if you enjoy a yaoi game and don't mind a longer than usual story I'd suggest this for you.
