Welcome to the official World of Padman group on Steam

Yes, you have read correctly! World of Padman is now available for download in version 1.6.1 as a unified ZIP for the three operating systems Windows, Linux and MacOS. If you already have WoP installed, it is sufficient to download the 110 MB patch release. The patch requires at least WoP 1.5 and must be unpacked directly into the existing installation directory, whereby the overwriting of some files is to be confirmed. The current full release, on the other hand, costs just under 1 GByte and does not require an installed previous version of WoP. Since we don’t provide installers for the respective operating systems yet, you have to execute the appropriate start file, wop.x86_64.exe under Windows, wop-linux.x86_64 under Linux and wop-osx.x86_64 under MacOS, directly from the installation directory. Please note, existing desktop or menu shortcuts will not be updated automatically and therefore have to be adjusted manually if required.

Since the game content has not changed that much, we will not list all changes here. If you want to know exactly, please have a look at the file changelog.txt in the directory XTRAS. If you feel like playing a round of World of Padman now, you can directly visit our PadWorld server with the new version. Otherwise there will be our next Padday tomorrow, starting at 7:00 pm (CET), for which you should have the new version installed in any case.
