The Quest 2 is now discontinued, Here's what you should know.

It is come to my attention that Meta or Oculus, Has recently phased out their "Meta Quest 2" headset off of retail markets on July 2024, Then in September 2024. Meta has confirmed that their Quest 2 headset will be officially discontinued to follow up with their newest product "Meta Quest 3S", Anybody who has bought it will still be able to keep it and use it, But Meta will probably if I say so will no longer deliver hardware updates in the future if they have announced or confirmed it too.

No, This does not mean your Quest 2 headset is bricked anytime. I don't think Meta will be able to brick their headsets (Unless YOU are the one who decided to mod it and manage to brick it)

If you weren't able to get their Quest 2 in time, There's always a way to find one. Including their Oculus brand logo on the headset, Here's how:

- You can find Quest 2 headsets off of Second handed retail markets (EBay, Any other trusted third party services)
- Find refurbished copies off of primary markets if they have them going on for stock.
- Look for any thrift stores selling them, It can be pretty rare to find. But it's a pretty good option if ANY second handed markets or any refurbished copies are off the clock for primary and secondary markets.

If none of those work, You will need to buy their on sale products until any refurbished copies are going for sale, Or if anybody is selling them on second handed markets.
