Competitive CS:GO Team

✪Redfish: Yoooo dude i got really bad news.... so ive been playing on this laptop for the past 2 years for CSGO and i dont have a dedicated graphhics card, so my CPU has been the one mainly running the game for me. When i first got my laptop, the temperature of my CPU while playing was around 45-50c... The more time went on the higher the temperature went up being that it is a laptop so it doesnt have the best cooling for the CPU. Before winter break started i was sitting around 65c while playing CSGO. I think maybe the thermal paste on my CPU has finally ♥♥♥♥ the fan and now the temperature while playing CSGO is sitting around 75-80c...... so long story short, my CPU is throttling itself to the base clock speed/2.5ghz instead of 3.5ghz the turbo clock speed. This means that when i play i start at around 70-80 fps on most maps and then it throttles itself down to prevent overheating and i go down to 45-50 fps. I played a game today and my CPU went down to 2ghz and i went down to 35 fps.... :( So idk what to do, i guess i might continue to try to practice using this laptop and wait until i can afford a PC, or i might just stop playing until i can build a PC.... sucks ass man, wish my dumbass would have spent the extra like $150 like Birdie did and i wouldnt have had this problem. Sorry man i dont think at this point i could compete in ESEA.
