random card sales (i dont trade)
i just got 82 emails from steam saying "You have sold an item on the Community Market"

i dont trade anything on steam, never have. i've alittle tweaked out here cause there's $2.41 on my account for something i didnt do and i cant find any way to contact steam about it that isnt some forum ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. so i'm posting this as a "cover my ass" openly stating i did not do this, i have no idea how or why it's happened, and if steam needs to take that money they can.

First posting here is pointless, this is a trading group the odds of a mod seeing this and then passing it along are about as good as me finding a winning lotto ticket and staying in my room for the rest of my life.

What you need to do is go to the "Market" section, then click the tab for "My Market History". See if it wasn't something that you might have listed years ago and forgotten about. Or maybe a family member, your account is 13 years old so that is plenty of time for that to have happened.

If it isn't you then you need to do this , first take a ton of screen shots of your market history. So you at least have some type of proof. Next go to the "Help" tab and then find a way to contact Steam Support. That will be a pain since they try to auto respond to everything but if those items for sale where not you then you need to contact Steam. Posting here will do nothing.

like i said i posted this as a cover my ass way because i've already tried doing that and kept getting their "click this if" crap. they make it nearly impossible to just email them with a problem that i cant find a way to do it without getting that automated crap. so i posted this as a way of showing that i'm not trying to hide anything or "cheat the system" in any way. i've got all the emails showing the listing so if they want that then i can easily send it to them; but i've already tried going through their round about support and havent found a way to contact them directly.

Did you check your market history to see what was sold and if it was something you or someone else who has access to you account?

Go to the Tab called "Community" and hover your mouse on it and then the 4th option. "Market" Click that. Then at the top you see two options "My Active Listings" and "My Market History". Click the History one to see what you have sold.

i did. there's a bunch of cards sold i didnt own and some bought in non-US currencies. i ended up putting a 256 char password on my account to stop whatever's going on, if someone hacked into my account.

Oh you're resorting to childish name calling because I informed where you should be contacting Valve.

LOL not that they'll care anyway or help you get your items back.

Bye bye

you gave me the quite literal most basic answer you could possibly give; something that even an idiot with 1 braincell could've figured out, and you question why i'm calling you a ♥♥♥♥? you did it to be a troll, dont gaslight me.
