After the recent case of a CSGO youtuber falling for one of these fake website phishing scams, it seems pertinent to make sure the community in general is more aware of the way they operate. ANYONE can fall for these scams, not only new players, and they are designed to get around Steam Guard protections in ways you may not be aware of. We plan on hosting our next Trading Tutorial Video contest in the next few weeks. The contest prize will be $150. The goal of the next video is to explore the Steam trading markets for TF2, Dota 2, CS:GO, and PUBG. We will be looking for a video exploring how to spot the best deals, what groups and websites play central roles in Steam trading, and how pro traders use Steam to get the most out of trading.

Here are the details for submitting a video and entering the contest:

1) If you are interested in entering the contest then please message a link, for the video you are submitting, to our Twitter account @outpostnetwork.

2) This must be an original video that you created.

3) The video must be 10-30 minutes in length.

4) The video should cover all the relevant topics to trading on Steam and using TF2Outpost.com. The goal is to create a video that will help Steam traders get the most out of their trading experience. The more detail the better. The video should be made with English text/voice.

5) We are only going to consider videos that are SFW, appropriate, and educational. If you are going to submit trollish/sarcastic videos please make sure they are at least hilarious and educational, but there is a pretty good chance we won't consider them. You will get the ban hammer if you submit anything offensive, so please don’t go there and let’s have fun helping our community.

The submission phase of the contest will end 11/17/17 at 5:00PM PST. We will announce a winner on 11/18/17.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we are very pleased to announce that TF2Outpost.com has officially changed ad providers, removed several ad slots from the site, and fixed the crashing/slowing of the site due to ads!
