The TF2 Olympics

TF2 Olympics. Every Countries Finest may compete.

The plan is that there should be several leagues.
This is because we don't really want to only see top level players, we want everyone to compete. Leagues are as folllows:

Highlander:9v9, one of each class
4v4:4v4
Utilduo:2v2 (soldier and med vs soldier and med)

*note:6s is still in debate. 6s has a thriving competitive scene and even has LAN events already, with players earning money for winning. with enough encouragement we will add 6v6

We plan to have several teams for each country:

Team A: this is the team of the country's best team fortress 2 players.
They will most likely not know each other. You enter this alone and get paired up with the best of each role. Here is where the top level people will get to.

Team B: this is the team of very good, but not super pro, players.Some or many of these people will have much competitive experience.

Team C: good players who may have dipped their feet into competitive play already.

Team D: Anybody! you could just be a pub player who thinks they have a good shot with the sniper rifle.

*****************NOTE: you dont tryout for a team. you tryout, then get put into a division for each team. if your first tryout coach says you are good for team A, then you will be reevaluated there and maybe get to represent your country.



Registration goes like this: if you are from a country or live there, you can compete for it. a website will go up soon to register at. first we need to gather steam, so invite your friends to this group to make the very first TF2 Olympics!
