How do I force quit a hung game from the controller? (Dev Days Brix Pro + Steam Controller)

Apart from the other issues reported here (audio, wifi reliability) I've got a couple of games that don't run correctly in SteamOS on the Dev Days test rig.

Forced is one example. It installs and runs, the Forced logo animates for a few seconds, then it returns to the Steam desktop.

Natural Selection 2 however gets stuck on a large dialog (Could'nt initalize the render device).

How do I force quit a game which is hung from the Steam Controller? I can access the Steam overlay page OK when NS2 is hung, but I can't launch another game without power cycling the hardware.

If I remember correctly you can scroll down on of those menus and choose Exit game.

Yes, from the overlay under LINKS & MORE you can select Exit Game. You can also press and hold the Guide button (the one that brings up the overlay) on the controller, which will ask if you intend to force quit the game.

Thanks. Both of those options worked. The option under "Links & More" is really buried in the UI and I didn't see it when I looked earlier, because you need to scroll down inside that list.

The game still failed to force quit on one occasion, but SteamOS helpfully prompted me to restart instead, which is fine.
