USB Boot Help ASUS M5A99X evo
I wanted to try and install SteamOS on my extra hard drive I had lying around but had some issues booting from the USB stick, everytime it would just boot into windows from my main hard drive even when I chose UEFI: Corsair Voyage GO from the boot menu. So I tried unplugging every sata cable except the one to the hard drive that I wanted to install SteamOS on and it said I needed to reboot and insert bootable media, or something along those lines I do not remember the exact error but that is pretty close. I have tried both the default and custom installation files for SteamOS.

I have the Corsair Voyage GO 32GB USB drive if that makes any difference.

Only the SteamOSDVD is self bootable (i think) & you need to extract the .ISO's file onto your USB drive.

Figured out the issue. After watching this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OoWu0yn7rss I found out I need to disable secure boot on my mobo. IDK if this is specific to ASUS mobos or what, but I did not see that tip anywhere else.
