Does the latest steamos support RTX2060Super?
My PC is currently running Windows, and I want to change it to SteamOS. My graphics card is RTX2060Super, and I’m not sure if it can be driven correctly under SteamOS to achieve the same performance as under Windows.

The current SteamOS image is not suitable for normal PC use. It has been customized for the Steam Deck that uses AMD hardware. While the CPU manufacturer is not so important, the GPU manufacturer is. So unfortunately your GPU is not compatible with the current SteamOS image as it is from NVIDIA. However, I hope that Valve will deliver an image in the not too distant future that will make SteamOS suitable for desktop PC operation. Right now there is no official release date.

But there is Bazzite, if you are interested in a very SteamOS like experience with support for NVIDIA GPUs.
Or just try an easy to use Linux distro like Tuxedo OS or Linux Mint.
There are also other gaming distros... Nobara, PikaOS, etc.
All of them with NVIDIA Support.

No, The latest SteamOS doesn't work with Nvidia, Linux works fine with most Nvidia cards, but gamescope does not work with Nvidia at this current time.

Bazzite will work if you want a desktop OS, but if you want a console OS like Steam Deck, that mode is broken with Nvidia, as it depends entirely on gamescope.
It's not required to run steamos, you can run any Linux distro and install steam.
If you're looking for the steam deck experience, try bazite. Nobara with Nvidia drivers installed works best.
