Wireless USB headset for SteamOS?
I'm dying way too often in L4D2 due to lack of communicating with my friends.

I have the headset for my xbox360 controller but that's not recognized by SteamOS, anyone have a wireless USB headset that is known to work?

Now that the audio config options have landed in the system dialog I was thinking I should be able to just plug something in and just work; but I'd like to see if anyone has tried this before I buy.

I can confirm that the Logitech Wireless Headset H600 also works out of the box!

Does anyone's Logitech G930 play full blast and not recognize adjustments to the volume wheel?

Any other brands/types that work out of the box?
How about logitech H800 for example ?

Which bluetooth 4.0 dongles work ? Do any of them work (I have a jabra bluetooth mic which i would like to connect to have a mic)
I'm trying to find a Debian bluetooth dongle compatibility list , but can only seem to find one for Ubuntu . :(

In my honest opinion, wait to see if Valve end up implementing a headset jack into the controller itself. It's a feature that a hell of a lot of people have requested.

It's a feature even I requested , but I can't wait to have voicechat until the controllers are for sale . I ordered a bluetooth dongle so I will see if this works with my jabra bluetooth mic .

Well, the OS is half useless without the controller anyway unfortunately, I'll only be dedicating hardware to SteamOS once I have the controller in my hands and all of my games available by streaming with it.

The bluetooth dongle i bought is recognized , i can pair my jabra H700 with it . However , for some reason it does not show up under input/output in the sound properties .

Seems to be an issue with the 3.11 kernel ? http://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/129279/bluetooth-headset-profile-not-working-with-recent-kernel

While it's not a wireless one, I can confirm the wired Logitech G430 also works plug and play with SteamOS.

I have the G930 and in steamos they reproduce stereo sound only. All function buttons like volume-scroller, mute, G-buttons don't work.

They really should do this so anyone can use their wired headset, wireless/bluetooth ones are really expensive over here
