how do i setup ups monitoring?
i hav a powercool 600W ups attached to my system, but i have no software in linux to manage it.
in windows it has a small tray program that monitors it and shuts down the pc if the power been out for a set time.

how do i do this on SteamOS?

steam OS,

i have nothing installed on steam OS to mange it, on my windows install it uses a program called "smart ups2000R"

Try contacting the people from smart ups2000R and tell them to make a Linux version?

Darkbibble of that software is not available in the Debian Jessie repos, let me know and I'll package it if it works for you.

i have installed it following the steps on the debian site, but cant tell if it running,
i installed to optional web interface but have no clue on how to access it

from futher testing, apcupsd isnt compatible with my ups.

tho there is another package that may work called "nut" which is also in the stable repository,

ive maneged to find that nut should work for me, but i dont know how to start the drivers.

it says do; /lib/nut/nutdrv_atcl_usb start , but it says unknown command, what do i do??
