SteamOS brewmaster update 2.93 pushed to brewmaster_beta
Corrects a build issue where the last kernel updates were not actually included. Also updates from the Debian 8.6 release[www.debian.org] and the usual security fixes.

As I understand it, SteamOS now develops simultaneously with Debian + has its own patches ?
Or lags far behind Debian ? When can we expect a new kernel version (4.7 and above) ?

NVIDIA has a new driver available that wasn't updated in this SteamOS Beta , please include version 367.44 . Hopefully will fix some crashing issues I've been facing with the GTX 1070

Hrrm. Updated, restarted now attempting to recover from fatal error. Wonder what happened there... fingers crossed.

Phew! ... ok, it cane back up fine. Good to go!

So many opinions in my Mind. And I have next questions. Sorry for mistakes.
If I burn brewmaster on dvd and install on second hdd, can i trust in boot menu or dual booting and how it makes possibility for Win and SteamOS? motherboard Gigabyte ga-535-s3g. I just can't programming at that enviroment if I want use two OS. In net are many advices and programs for dual booting PC. Which one I'v must to choose?

The safest way is to unplug all drives which have important data and do an automated install. After installing, just replug your other hard drives and select which OS you want to boot through the boot menu of your bios.

Shark's method is really good for installing.
Additionally, if you don't like your OS boot drive select feature, you can default it to your SteamOS installation, and update GRUB to include your Windows partition. That will give you dual boot as well.

Personally, I would just like to see the NVIDIA drivers fixed for games like Shadow of Mordor, and proper handling for multiple drives without having to do complex hard linking or modifying mounts. Oh, and better handling for multiple steam controllers through a single adapter advertised to some games (I.E. adapter being able to be seen as a USB hub and each controller seen as a separate USB device).

Does anyone around here have issues with Radeon HD5650? Currently using Kali linux and been thinking about installing SteamOS.
