Is there any way to create a spanned volume while installing steam os
In windows you can create a spanned volume after installation to combine 2 hard disks into one drive. Is there such a way in steam os while installing to combine 2 hard disk to make one /home partition for more hard disk space for games.

Don't know if it's available to you but I use LVM for this - you create an LVM on each drive then a new LVM volume and add the 2 drives to it and then mount the volume not the drives - this is what I do for Steam on my PC (Solus 3 with KDE plasma 5.12)

Any way I found the solution. I am sticking with windows and using a spanned volume as I only liked steam os for it's ease of use but I don't understand Linux a lot and all I wanted to do was play games with the power of my PC in my living room like a console. I have set the computer to boot directly into big picture mode and only installed steam on the system for best gaming experience. I now control the entire gigabyte brix PC with my Xbox one controller and steam controller if I require mouse for any use. I don't use keyboard and mouse only controller and can play the entire steam library. I really liked the effort of steam OS and tried to support it a lot for 4 years but it is time that windows is the best option and any one can customize it to run like steam OS by a little tweaking. I love steam though and the ability it gives the user by bpm to control the entire system by a controller and show supported controller games. I love the system I have which updates automatically ,is small form factor, can play all steam games on it like a console, don't have to pay for online subscription like on consoles but get the same experience and with windows 10 play far more games at a cheaper price than a console. Thanks valve for bpm it made turning a computer into a console possible and building your personal console also possible.
