only sound no video
Hey

i already tried to search for a solution. Maybe i am searching with the wrong keywords.

My problem:
Installed steam os today
If i start a game, no video output only sound.
inhomestreaming only transfers sound of host, but doesnt show video. Mouse and keyboard input get transfered to host.

When i use steam on windows instead of steamos on the same machine, everything is working fine.

Any suggestions?

Just tested it doesnt work. If i wouldnt be in the right workspace, wouldnt the mouse and keyboard input not work?

Mmmh i think the best way to solve it is to install linux and add some scripts to launch big picture mode on startup. I wont waste my time ...you wont waster your time... :D

Best use a MEDIACENTER edition of Linux and add STEAM.

Or go with the MAINSTREAM of the STEAM users and install UBUNTU

Mouse & keyboard are INPUT-devices, the screen is a OUTPUT-device.
It is possible that the keyboard works and the mouse doesnt, as each of them is using a different device-driver !

PS: If you want a Linux which looks similar to consoles, take a look at
