Is it safe to turn of real time scanning for mcafee ?

Ever since i did it one of my steam games started to work and a ton of more positives happens
Theres so many false positives in my view
Ia if worth it?

After Mcafee (creator) left the company, that service turned to poo.

Personally all those programs are a waste of money, but Mcafee is one of the worst ones to use, been that way for about 10-15+ some years.

you're better off completely uninstalling it and getting another AV. don't go for norton aswell though, it slows down your computer extremely and is generally a bunch of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I mean, when the guy who created it left, you know something is up.

But yeah, another reason why I don't use TunnelBear VPN. Bought by the McAfee company. Turned that into poo as well.

See i knew somethting, was up my patent won't let me uninstall this peace of s**t, she think my computer was very slow they had to install it and give all private settings on my computer even she think all the games i play has virus it's not i was doing ok with out this stupid fake virus scan.

All she do was believe it was the "only best security" instead of windows defender, what was i post to say to her, she can't listen what I'm saying to comfinse her, my favorite games was fine without "McAffe" next thing i knew when i going play my favorite game some more "BAM! " fake alarm scan kick me out of the game and she thinks people somehow hacked into it, no i know it's a lie, steam can't be hack, now she thinks all of it is a virus thinks to the flase security system, guess what she won't listen a lot of times she won't allow me to uninstall it to finally play them, still believing in stupid facts of them, I can't stand her anymore, she makes me want to kill her!

Bitdefender Total Security is what I've been using since 2009. At ~35 EUR for 5 devices, I couldn't be happier. It offers a **** ton of features, including cleanup utilities, plus some extra privacy stuff. Check out their website.
