Thanks for adding Radio Rebel to your playlist! I was not expecting that, to be honest.
As far as radio integration in Steam being a tool to sell / promote DRM music, I would have to agree with you to some extent. I think the only way this would work is if they avoided promotin and DRM all together. Stay strictly in the realm of empowering the users to choose their own methods of listening to music. It could be from your own music directory, online streaming, radio, etc. Of course not all music platforms would agree with this, but that is good, because there are plenty who would, like mine :)
[Will also try Radio Rebel ;-) ]
I would really love to see this feature in Steam. However, I would prefer manually adding radio stations to my playlist over using third party providers, such as vTuner or TuneIn Radio, if possible.
Nevertheless, full ack with postewar. I hope Steam Music does not go in this direction... I would simply not use this on desktop then. In Big Picture mode on a home theatre pc, I think it's an awesome addition to the SteamOS platform, so that you mustn't leave Steam to Debian desktop just to listen to some music.. which can become particulary difficult when solely using a gamepad ^^
TL;DR:
+1 on idea and Radio Rebel
let's do this! +1
