Steam families restricted if different country

I think, it's most "wrong" function there. Because i can live in one country and my true family can live in different country. I not talk about friends now, even family can't access me just because i work in different country for example. So that new function totally dissappointed me.

it's useless function now because this. Valve killed family libraries. I hope at least they can return optional choice for old system.

Same with me, my cousin have bought the game ( or the license as now steam is saying ) we were sharing on my PC ( we both payed 50/50 for the game i just payed him half in real life) and now in a middle of a game i cant acces it from my account just because hes from a diffrent country...

+1, my close friend who is abroad has been playing my library for more than 3 years and now he couldn't play it. I really hope steam devs work on this.

They could atleast try to allow family sharing for users across different regions with MFA enabled, this would atleast prevent 95% of the piracy cases, the rest 5% could be done with some mobile phone verification.

+1, Previously, I was always sharing with my spouse who is abroad. Am now locked out of sharing my library with them which really sucks.

My partner and I live together but I have no interest in changing my currency to a currency that doesn't match my income. Steam doesn't care about people who live international lifestyles or marry people abroad? This is the worst feature I've ever seen actually. It is so dismissive of people who don't fit into a stereotypical box, or who might not want to change currency for personal reasons.

+1 it's really horrible decision. The dumbest thing is when U can't join "Families" it ruinin your family steam library and u just cant play as family anymore.
