Valve is making some updates to quickplay soon that will impact the servers. If you're interested, you can read about it here[www.mail-archive.com].

In the meantime, I'm going to have to turn off the bonus round immunity effect since Valve considers this a "gameplay advantage." If I leave this on while using quickplay, Valve might ban the server from quickplay entirely.

Also, reserved slots will no longer work the same way on the servers because Valve considers kicking someone due to slot reservation a quickplay violation. I've added 4 hidden slots so the servers can now be filled up to 28 players. They still appear full at 24 players though, and those of you with res slots can still connect via the console like before. The only real change is that it will no longer kick players from the server to make room. For the servers to be completely full, there would be 24 regulars players plus 4 reserved slot players making the total 28/24. Normally the servers don’t stay totally full for too long so this shouldn't be an issue, but if it is full, just use the console to connect (see one of my earlier posts for how to connect through the in-game console).
