Source Engine 2007 destroyed all SMOD and other mods !!!

Valve updated half life 2 and hl2 ep1. all mods has been constructed for source engine 2004. players why cant run hl2 game or mod ?? you cant run game for big HW minimal requirement (mods: all mods has been constructed for source engine 2004 and source engine 2007 changed ALL MOD DATA( scripts,cfg files,maps,and textures) !!!) Who is using SMOD uhmmmmmm... SMOD is death. Why ?? for NEW SOURCE ENGINE !!!!!
