Welcome to skyrpg, the classless RPG that lets you play any way you want to.

1. Unlock 150 talents while you quickly "grind" to the max level of 150.
2. Earn equippable, persistent loot that affects your unlocked talents, providing a grind that only ends when you want it to.
3. All players earn 1 guaranteed loot drop at their highest possible roll for being alive at the end of the round in the safe room.
4. Choose from 14 different difficulty levels so you have complete control over how difficult - and rewarding - your time spent on the server will be.

Steamgroup listings/servers were broken in the latest update.
Manual Connect instructions:

Option A:

1. Open Steam, Click the 'View' tab at the top left of the window, then click 'Game Servers' and a pop-up window will appear.
2. On the right box where it says -- SELECT GAME -- click the box and scroll until you see the 2nd 'Left 4 Dead' option and select it.
3. Press the magnifying glass icon next to this box.
4. Expand the filters options by pressing the 'Change Filters' button in the bottom left.
5. Type 'skyrpg' without the quotes into the 'Server Name' box. This will filter to only show you our server(s).

Option B:

1. Make sure Developer Console is enabled (in L4D2, Options -> Keyboard/Mouse -> Allow Developer Console)
2. Open Console with the (~) key.
3. Type 'connect skyrpg.org' into console without the quotes and press enter.

There are currently 403 talent nodes available.

Chat Commands

The following are chat commands that you can type into the chat box to open certain menus or trigger certain events.

Opens the main rpg menu.

!buy

Opens the !buy menu to spent points.

!weapons

Opens the free weapons menu during the pregame period.

!loadoutname

Name your saved talent profile to share with others or to load later. You can save up to 20 loadouts.

!abilitybar

Toggles the forced-display of the action bar on and off; The action bar must be disabled to open the RPG menu or Teams panel.

!ability#(1-5)

Activates the related action bar slot.
e.g.: !ability1 would activate action bar slot 1

Full server wipe, new version out now with the crafting/reroll system!

Hi all, this morning I reset the database as we now are feature-complete with the crafting/reroll system.

The first level requirement is 1,000 xp, so players should level FAST early on!

The new level cap is 150 with a soft level cap of 100. Once you reach the soft level cap, dying in the 101-150 level range sees you lose 30% of your current level's experience[/u] when you die.

Happy grinding, and don't forget to reroll your augments into your trifectas!

Version 3.4.6.2 - Added a new variable to track whether a melee weapon is equipped or not. - Optimized the SetMyWeapons(client) method. - Fixed a math bug in GetTalentInfo() - Fixed a bug in GetAttributeMultiplier() where I was using the wrong variable for the calculation. - Bags will no longer be created and instead augment parts given when a potential item does not meet the players item loot% threshold setting. - Players can no longer choose to auto-destroy minor augments specifically under the new auto-dismantle on roll system, as minor augments are determined after the player picks the item up, not at the time of bag generation. - Redesigned attributes for linear (instead of exponential) multiplication. - Added a new variable to control if attribute talents are additive or multiplicative: "are attribute talents multiplicative?" "0" // By default, if this key is omitted attribute talents are additive. - Tanking now earns score. - Tanking now earns experience from common infected. Version 3.4.6.1 - Removed hard-coded melee weapon damage cooldown due to potential bug crash related. - Redesigned healing to scale off of healing talents, not damage talents. This means healing will no longer scale with damage. - Fixed a bug where items in healing or throwable slots could be recorded as a clients weapon and the wrong type of proficiency would get called. - Heal strength will now display proper values on the ability bar. - Max health capped to 30,000 for survivors because engine is 16bit.
