Room Reopening(?) - 1/3/19

Hey everyone, hope you all had a wonderful New Year!

Apologies for keeping the room for so long. I am sure many of you have been looking forward to returning to the table. Alot has been going on the past week so I'll go over everything bit by bit.

A little over a week ago, on the 26th, I had started developing some symptoms of a runny nose, though I tried to keep it back during times when I would host (I'd take some medicine before hosting). I didn't think anything of it for the first couple days, until I started getting massive headaches the next night.

The day I had announced my room closure, I felt very weak. To the point I just wanted to stay in bed all day. I felt dizzy and nauseous the next day as well, and almost spent the entire day in bed, until I went to see my doctor. I've had a bad case of the flu throughout this week that I've been gone, and been on meds to help it since then.

Today I feel that I have become well enough that I may attempt hosting again. However if I do, it'll be likely I'll have my voicechat off and trying to take it easy until I feel better.

Throughout this little absence, I had been thinking about ways to help the server run even when I am gone, possibly electing players as promoted players for the table so that they can help me run it as necessary when I am gone. Also, I am hoping to add in a few systems (a possible whitelist, and votekick) that will help manage the general flow of the table, when I actively host or when I leave the server running on its own. That way should anything happen to me, I can still run the server while I tend to my own needs.

I still have some recovery to do, but I don't want to leave you all hanging for much longer. Be sure to watch the Discord for notifications on when I will be opening, and I'll do my best to be on today.

All of the events will be extended until 1/15/19, more than the time I spent away, so that should be enough time to get those Christmas drops, even if December has already come and gone.

Thank you all for your understanding. It's been a rough start to 2019, but it'll only get better from here!

Room Closed - 12/28/18 to ???

Hey everyone, just a heads up that the room will be closed for tonight, and the next opening is currently unknown.

Unfortunately I've fallen quite ill today, and it's only worsened as the day went on. I'm looking to keep the room closed for while I recover, as hosting is a job that requires full attention. Handling all the needs and answering all questions can be a draining task after a few hours, and as I already feel like I have little energy, I do not feel that I am capable of keeping the room open for tonight.

I may need to close for more nights than just tonight, depending on how quickly I recover. But for tonight, I plan to shut down early and get myself to sleep at a much earlier time than I usually do, in order to help myself recover. I will post updates depending on how the condition recovers/worsens.

Do not worry though, as any current events running at the table (Christmas 2018 drops, 30 min reward cooldown) will be extended an extra day for each day I keep the room closed. This means that currently all events will run until the end of January 1st, 2019.

I will also offer other compensation rewards when the room re-opens, depending on the amount of days I feel I need to spend recovering instead of playing.

I apologize deeply for the inconvenience, and hope that I will be able to start running the table very soon.
