ABOUT Anti-Epic-Sweeney-Coalition(AESC

Epic games, Fortenite and their CEO suck!

You might be wondering why this page exist? Well for starters If you are a gamer and I assume most casual steam users here are, you might already know of the video games that steam had to pull off the market because Epic games and that asshole named Tim Sweeney made the choice to buyout video game developers and making it exclusive. The game titles that have become exclusive to Epic thanks to Sweeney are as follows Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, Metro: Exodus(sucks anyways), Hades, Satisfactory, Unreal Tournament, Rollercoaster Tycoon Adventures, The Walking Dead: The Final Season, Hello Neighbor: Hide and Seek(arrive on Steam 2020), Borderlands 3, Control, The Outer Worlds, Detroit: Become Human, World War Z, Close to the Sun and many more. This is a big no, no for us consumers.

He has even made concessions with the developers in giving an 88% revenue share of the sales instead of Steams 70-80 percent. Now you might be saying "holy shit, game makers will be making more, so what!?" Let me stop you there, that does not mean it is cheaper for us the consumers who are fond of steam. The fact of the matter is that steam has open the door to allot of small indie developers and even allowed games that are in their beta stage to sell, games that might flop available in the steam store. Consumers that think a video game idea or beta version is worth developing can put their money in it, in a way the consumers and not the shareholders are the investors and I don't see Epic games anywhere near that. Epic games merely buys already successful games or huge titles and makes them exclusive depriving players of the chance to purchase those specific game titles.

So why not move to Epic games? I'll tell you why because it's shit and so is Fortnite. Steam is user friendly and look we we as users are able to do on Steam, meet new people, create groups, make custom chats, buy and watch films, etc. This does not include the Steam community market that allows us to buy and sell steam trading cards which to some players, it's very important. Steam as a company gives more autonomy to its workers as stated by them, "We believe that the best product decisions are made by the people who are actually doing the work. We take great pride in hiring top talent from a variety of disciplines and bringing people together with one simple directive: Collaborate and create." And for that they get my customer loyalty.
