Save the Open Internet!

I am almost shocked , I'm finding there are many many people in the United States that don't have a clue that their Internet may change significantly in the very near future. And those that think they know about it - many are wrong. And the subject's net neutrality.

People in general tend to be lazy about things they don't understand where they believe the promises shown in the media. They hear a little something about net neutrality and maybe even ask a question of their cable company what's it all about. The cable company assures them it's all for the better- everything is gonna be fine if we just undo net neutrality. In fact they make all kinds of undocumented promises that "everyone's life is going to be better" after December 14. Why? because they found a much more profitable way to make money, shit loads of it, by tiering the internet pipes.

My point is don't believe for a minute what the Internet providers and cable companies are promising you. Why in the world would anyone listen to any promise they made in the first place. They promise to be at your house at three to fix your cable and they show up a day later or never. They promise to keep your cable bill low yet every month it seems to inch up by a few cents or more.

And now they promise that if we allow the FCC to dismantle net neutrality, everyone will be better off and everything will be perfect, and unicorns for all.

It simply is not true!

Please research this for yourself, get the facts, become educated. Because these vultures have to be stopped. I'm sure it is just a coincidence that the chairman of the FCC who so desperately wants net neutrality abolished, was also a major shareholder of who, oh yeah Verizon and still has Interests there.

Please don't bury your head in the sand and take the attitude of well it's not my problem, it doesn't concern me, I can't be bothered. Because that is exactly what they want you to do, namely nothing.

If you're Registered voter contact your Congressman and tell him or her to stop the FCC. If you're under age convince your parents, educate them and have them contact their representatives. It's not too late. We can still stop the crooks from changing our current and good Internet way of life.

It's really up to all of us. or not...
