Embracer see potential for Deus Ex and Tomb Raider sequels, remakes and spinoffs

The acquisition includes the original IP associated with those studios, including Deus Ex, Thief, Legacy Of Kain and Tomb Raider.

In their quarterly earnings report, Embracer now say they see "great potential" in leveraging the heck out of that IP with sequels, remakes and more.

Which makes it a little odd that the marquee change in patch 4.1 is the removal of a feature: Breakthrough mode can no longer be played with 128 players, and is now limited to 64.

Not that Battlefield 2042's website or digital store pages have been updated to reflect that change yet.
