So if you have access to the Windows 8.1 where you were playing RC2 you can just save the registry key and then apply it under Windows 10 (or even mix old save with current and then apply to registry).
If not, you can retrieve save game from cache file "Configuration Data" (since it's cache file it must be unused on new system, otherwise it will be wiped out, so use file directly from backup) which is originally stored in game directory or somewhere in "Documents and Settings" (depend of game version).

EDIT: already found it nice! with the full ost it will be so much more enjoyable :D
