The Big List of Steam Roguelikes (outdated)

I don't want to really get into any lengthy debates about what is or isn't a Roguelike since there are a lot of non-traditional Roguelikes on Steam but I will say just because a game has procedural generation or random features doesn't automatically make it a Roguelike.

I'm a big fan of more traditional Roguelikes but it's a genre that's seen a big commercial resurgence in the past few years branching off into numerous sub-genres with many non-traditional elements and twists on the original formula.

If anyone has any comments or suggestions for additions/updates/categorization (including Greenlight games) feel free to comment!

Cargo Commander is kinda a roguelike :D
Don't starve is like Minecraft and it has Perma Death so : Rougelike

You have dungeon of the endless in your "traditional (turn-based)" section but it isn't turn-based. (or traditional). (or a roguelike, but I know I'm fighting a losing battle in this group with that).

Sorry, I'll re-review this stuff when I get a chance and update the list, probably in January. I'm still overseas, working seven days a week for Uncle Sam. Right now, I mostly eat, sleep, exercise, work, work, work, work, get a couple hours of leisure time and then repeat the process.
