I really want to buy this game(sim), but I can't find any place to buy it online, and there certainly is no place I can buy it from in South Africa. Please help me, tell me where it can be bought?

Yeah, when I first go RBR a couple a years ago I was really looking into them but held off as I'm still only rocking a laptop. I really need to invest in building a desktop set up first and then pick up the wheel and pedals.
Watching videos of people with triple monitor displays and the full set up just makes me sad at the moment. hah.

Triple monitor setups in RBR really make a difference when you're new to a wheel and pedals. Mostly they give you a real feel for what speed you're doing, which stops you going stupidly fast and crashing, which happens a lot when moving from one kind of control to another.
And unless you have an external monitor for that laptop, which, by the way, must either be relatively close to your face, or fairly large, then it'll be far too difficult with a wheel. So yes, most of the time a desktop is a must, even it's one from 2005, obviously it'll still run RBR.

The game is still a surprising amount of fun, whatever way you get used to it.

I ended up grabbing myself a controller, so its a start. Also, allows me to be able to plug my laptop into my tv and use it as a monitor since I don't have to have it in my lap.

Ah, the ability to "drift" through corners again...

Hi!

thanks a lot for the link _Nerf
i downloaded it and it runs great on Linux!! i even installed it in Program Files eheh
applied the patch and modified the resolution to 1080p

everithing works out of the box, now i have to test it with a wheel as it's quite painful playing it on keyboard

No problem, I'd assume you're running it via WINE if you're on linux?
I've heard it runs almost perfectly through WINE, glad to hear it works well, anyway.

Hello man, and thanks for the link. I see that lots of people likes it :). As a matter of fact i tried it myself too cause im an old rbr fan. But as soon as it hits 1.1 gb / 1.2 gb it just glitches and says connection problem and i have to reconnect back to my internet. Pretty enbarassing being the only one to troubleshoot :D. But i was thinking if somebody had the same problem or knows how i can fix the problem. I'm not so genious w/ these computer things. If anybody can help i would much like it.

That's your internet (or browser) being the problem there. Unless someone else has a solution, there's not much I can do, since I've never seen that before. Do you want me to upload it to a different site to see if that helps?

Just got into racing sims, started with going back and playing Gran Turismo 1 and 2 then buying Project Cars, getting a Logitech G29 and now I want a good rally game. This is it! So yeah... Last week i got so much rally vibes cause the finnish rally in jyväskylä is the next week and i live in jyväskylä. We go see stages and stuff. I got so much rbr vibes that i this time tried to upload the game from IE not from chrome... And it worked and i was so happy. Now i can get some pre-feelings for the rally from rbr :D NerfHerder TY so much for the link :) Game works perfectly fine. All have great moments w/ the game! (please forgive my rally english :))
