OIdschool Counter-Strike!

Realism was a Counter-Strike 1.6 clan back in the old days, before Global Offensive. They belonged to the top of that era and were also succesful on LAN, winners of tournaments like Campzone and competed in Best of Benelux and World Cyber Games qualifiers. When Counter-Strike Source arrived, the members of Realism decided to quit the game because of the problems Source had in the early months. Most of the Realism players started playing Counter-Strike in the BETA period (BETA 7.0 and upwards) and had been playing Counter-Strike for more than 5 years.

They felt that CS: Source was a completely different game and therefor decided to move on and quit the scene. Now it’s 2015, Global Offensive has been increasing in popularity and a few members of the old Realism decided to give the game a try. Turns out it is much more like CS 1.5 than Source ever was. Slowly they started playing more and more CS: GO and have been regaining their former skill.

This group is for those players, who are training their skill and trying to use their years long CS experience to get back into the (semi) pro CS scene. It will still take months before this will shape into Realism competing in Leagues, but when they do.. the current teams should be wise to pay heed. Realism is oldschool skill, with years and years of experience in the early pro-days of CS and they could bring something new to Global Offensive.
