We have now added a page with hints for each puzzle, including whether the solution is a word or number, how many characters it has and multiple tiers of increasingly more helpful hints, partial solutions and a full explanation including the final solution. The link to it is in the bottom right corner of each puzzle dialog (refresh the page if it isn't there).

Also, if you can't quite find the time in the busy run-up to Christmas, we'll leave it online for some time so you can jump back in during the holidays!
