You never know what you have until it's gone.

As many of you may know, I (squid <コ:彡) have been VAC banned recently, for unknown reasons. Here is my story:

A while (May 23, 2013) I was playing Team Fortress 2, on Hightower. My team, RED, had just won the round and I was in the spawn room, when I was kicked from the server and received a message stating that I could no longer access secure servers due to a cheating infraction. I restarted TF2 in the rare case that it might be an error, but the ban persisted. I was in no way cheating or using third party programs to augment my performance.

At the time of the ban I had over 1500 hours logged in the game and over 750 valuable in-game items. They're all gone now, minus anything that was ever purchased from the Mann, co. store in game. I also cannot receive or trade any items from the game. I've poured huge amounts of time, money, and effort into the game; to see it all go to waste for no clear reason at all is hugely upsetting.

The *ONLY* thing that the community could suggest is that I used an achievement unlocker, which I have not. I went to an achievement server in 2012, and even though VAC bans are delayed, 2 years seems like an awful long time.
