*Ahem* Good evening!
Today, let's look at the story of the Wishing Star.
Many years ago, there was a beatiful oasis named The Sky Kingdom.
It was a wonderful place, where there was no hint of misery.
Its ruler, Prince Para, kept the kingdom in check using The Wishing Star.
Legend says the Wishing Star was capable of granting any wish.
It's been cherished for years, but in the wrong hands...
It can be used for fiendish plans.
Soon, though, the happiness of The Sky Kingdom fell short.
The Wishing Star abruptly went missing.
And on the same day, Prince Para disapeared without a trace.
Without its height of royalty, The Sky Kingdom fell into ruin and dispair.
And in a flash, it fell from the sky, ending all life there.
Seventy years later...
A devilish villian named King Vortex found The Wishing Star.
Before he could use it for his plans, an unkown hero payed the ultimate price...
The hero destroyed The Wishing Star, and hid its fragments from Vortex.
Ten years later...
Legend spread throughout the Mushroom Kingdom about The Wishing Star.
Many have tried to find its fragments, but failed.
The news quickly found its way to Castle Vortex.
King Vortex and his army of Shadow Troopers set out to look for the fragments.
If they find all of them...
Who knows what could happen?
And so begins the story of The Wishing Star...
