[FIX] Unofficial Patch for Pressure 2 v1.0.4 and Pressure 2 Dark v1.0 with the new chat beta

Unofficial Patch for Pressure 2 [Version 1.0.4 / Dark Version 1.0]

This is an unofficial patch which will make Pressure 2 compatible with the new steam chat beta.
But do take this with a grain of salt because before today I had no prior experience with theming Steam.
Because of this it may not look as good as it could and the new Account Menu dropdown is not working right. I will try to fix this tomorrow. Also I'm in need of an icon for the new announcement button for now it will look the same as the notification button.

Edit 1: I replaced the notification icon with the announcement icon of the original steam client.
Edit 2: The account menu dropdown is now working as expected in the dark skin. For the light skin I need to change some colors around and it will take a bit longer. Will add another edit when it's done.

The search bar (ctrl+f) is a little broken as it is half white so you can't see where the buttons are. Also, the 'friends and chat' text in the box is cut off on monitors with thinner aspect ratios

Okay it's noted and I will work on it next week because right now I'm on vacation. Seems like I will have to take out my old monitor for testing again :D

Although i have absolutely no idea how steam skins work, i managed to change some colour patterns and different icons myself, therefore it would be interesting which files you changed to fix the skin, so that i could use my personally modified version with those files you changed!
Would be really helpful!

Here you go (when you want to get a better comparison for yourself just download WinMerge and select my updated Pressure2 Dark folder and the original Dark 1.0 release to compare them. Did the same in this screenshot):
/includes/color.style[prnt.sc]

Because the next file is to long for screenshots here is an online diff tool. My modification is on the right the original on the left.
resource/layout/steamrootdialog.layout[www.diffchecker.com]

Additionaly I added those files from scratch:
resource/layout/accountbutton.layout[gist.github.com]
resource/layout/accountmenu.layout[gist.github.com]

and took the new announcement button icon from the new unthemed steam release
you can find it under /graphics/updatenone_notification.tga

This should be all I modified hope this is enough to help you :D

Hey, I just installed the patch and everything seems to be ok. Except for these options in the Polish version of steam. Could you fix it somehow? I would be very grateful.

If I find time I will look into it. Tommorow I'm going to fix the dropdown menu in the light Pressure version to get the main interface fully functional first because that has higher priority to me. I also think that this missallignment in the options was carried over from the official Pressure version and has nothing to do with my changes. Because this bug is already mentioned on github I think DirtDiglett is going to fix this in the next Pressure 2 release (v1.1) that I think is going to be released soon so I don't know if it's worth fixing here.

Theoretically this does not interfere with the use of Steam. In practice, it makes it difficult to select the appropriate options or choose the skin itself. If the official update should actually come out soon, I do not know - Maybe you're right and it's worth to wait. However, if you want to take care of it, my gratitude for the work is still actual. ;) Regards and thanks for the answer.

What do you mean with "friendslist on my profile"? When you mean that the friends section is missing from your community profile page (on the steamcommunity.com/id/[your id] page) then this has nothing to do with my edits because steam is just rendering a website that is laying on valves servers. This webpage can't be modified by me.

The new Steam UI and chat were in beta for a while now and you only would get them if you opted in the beta in the client settings but a few days ago it was released to everyone.
