Welcome to the picc gathers group on Steam!

With the death of the professional CS 1.6 scene, there's now thousands of players who still enjoy the game and don't want to move to other games (League of Legends, Counter-Strike Global Offensive, etc), but don't have a decent place to play on.

I inicially started this project because I want something easy to access and very noob friendly, which wasn't the case with the gathers available. Most of them required you to register at their website, connect to their irc channel, etc. Just tons of unnecessary steps to play a simple game. Everytime I wanted to play with a friend that wasn't familiar with it it would be a huge problem.


This system is as simple as it gets. You connect to the server, and once it reaches 10 players, it starts the game. It's fully automatic, there's no need for mods or admins.

We also have a teamspeak server, which you can use both when playing on the gathers or for your personal use. The IP is ts3.piccgathers.net, feel free to join anytime.

Right now we have two game servers:
gs1.piccgathers.net:27015
gs2.piccgathers.net:27025

One Polish and the other one Swedish, respectively.

Since the server is fully automatic, it means that it needs to be full by itself. There's no admin starting a match per se, since the server is always active and ready to go. This can be a bit problematic sometimes, because there might not be enough players to start a match.

For this reason, I highly recommend you to sign up to this steam group we created. Whenever we're going to gather and start a match, we'll post an announcement and you can join. This saves a lot of time trying to fill the server.


This is being run with a very limited budget, a lot of dedication, so we are looking for coders (amxx, php, sql etc), and servers in different locations so our members can ping lower. Any kind of help, suggestion or contribution is generally welcome. We also plan to have a forum on the website, so stay tuned for that!
