This is a group in honour of the great Antarctica explorer Ernest Shakleton.

We also hope to honour the crew of the Endurance, for the extroidinary story they created when they imbarked upon the Imperial Trans-Antartic Expedition. Also i hope that with this group i can find people like me who have an intrest in cold polar regions of Antartica. Sherlock Holmes. The great detective of Arthur Conan Doyles Novels, is one of the greatest fictional characters of all time. I am a great personal fan of Holmes and Dr. John H. Watson. Even though he is merely a fictional character. I hope the members of this group will spend some time reading Holmses books and watching his videos on you tube.

I recommend that all memmbers of this club read the book "Endurance" By Alfred Lansing.It is a true story, and intense. Would recommend to readers 12+.
