Developers of Aurora Hills and Meridian 157

NovaSoft Interactive Ltd. is small game studio based in Calgary AB, Canada. We specialize in developing point and click puzzle adventure games for mobile and desktop. Currently, we have two employees working at NovaSoft, Chris and Julian Stys. We first conceptualized creating a game studio in 2016, back when we both were still in university. As we had no prior experience with game development, we spent lots of time learning the basics of game development, and now do all aspects of our games, including art, music and programming, in-house. After founding NovaSoft in June 2019, we released our first game, Meridian 157: Prologue and have been working full-time on game development ever since, currently working on the Aurora Hills series!

Hello everyone,

First off, we wanted to thank everyone for an amazing launch of Aurora Hills: Chapter 2! The amount of comments and support we've receieved has been incredible and is the best reward for us after a long development period. We're very grateful for your kind words and are looking forward to incorporating all of your feedback into future projects!

Aurora Hills: Chapter 3

We know many of you are asking about the next chapter, and we're excited to announce that we're already in the development of Chapter 3! While we're still in the early stages and don't have a planned release schedule, our goal for the next title is twofold:

A shorter development time for the next chapter. We realize that the development time for this series have been quite long and we greatly appreciate your patience. But we've learned a ton by working on the first two titles and are planning on a shorter developing cycle for the next chapter.
Being more engaged with the community. Historically we haven't been as communicative with the community as we could have been during development of past projects. We're looking to address this and being more open with you about progress going forward.

Anyway, we just wanted to share how grateful we are about all of your support on this journey, and are looking forward to sharing our next adventure with you soon!

Hi! I just wanted to say that I liked both Aurora Hills and Meridian 157 so much that I decided to follow you. You're the only devs I'm following, by the way. I do have one issue though. In both games the cutscenes would be a black screen with only audio, no video. Could you add a popup before each game that has a warning about the 1080p resolution not working and a suggestion to change the resolution? Just until you are able to patch it. Thanks!
