we will use this group as a tool to keep ourselves free of spam invites from community members to whom we have no connection; and as a petition to steam to give us more control over how and from whom we receive invites.

when a group member receives an unsolicited invite to a random group by someone they have no connections to they should post to "THE LIST" detailing the intrusion and then every other member of this group can easily "Block All Communication" from those spammers.

as an additional measure those INDIVIDUALS and ONLY those individuals that receive spam invites should report both the community member who sent the invite and the group to which the invite was connected; selecting the "User Misconduct" option and stating the offense of "spam invite".

it is our belief that the actions outlined above will help the community rid itself of unwanted activities and those that perpetrate them while being within both the spirit and letter of Rules and Guidelines for Steam Community Discussions, Steam Subscriber Agreement, and Steam Online Conduct.
