ABOUT Neverball

Neverball is a free 3D physics ball-rolling game, similar to and inspired by games such as Super Monkey Ball and Marble Madness.

Recent community news and updates:

"Nervercorner is going offline February 6th."

"Hi guys,

I've hosted this small nevercorner composed of nevertable, neverforum and neverwiki for more than 10 years now. That is awesome.

I really love Neverball / Nuncabola, I love what I was doing for the community with the nevertable, launched on an whim with mym, pushed by the versus fighting Neverball offered with speedrunning the levels. That was my first real project in PHP and I learned a lot by developing it, and restarted it form scratch at least three times before having something I (and we) like :-) This is a great adventure, the passion was strong, and we live plenty of good moments !

However we have to consider that nowadays, the community is not really active anymore. The forum is dying, nobody is taking care of the Nevertable for years. Neverball himself is not really updated anymore. I am not personally an active member either now, but I'm always not so far to manage as I can spam accounts, and maintain a minimum of service and security update on the backend side to be sure everything is safe and run well.

Thus as I don't have much time nor motivation anymore to run the server, and I have no more personal use of the hosting, I announce it will go offline at the end of January (the ultimate date is February 14th, but I plan to stop the service at the end of January).

Of course I won't let anything disappear with no way to maintain the community if you wish the adventure to continue. If one of you, amongst the community leaders, want to take the succession for the hosting, I will be happy to give you all the data (files and databases) you need to get it online again. Currently it runs on PHP 5.3, Mysql 5.1, and take around 2GB of disk space."

The forum, nevertable and neverwiki will go offline for an indefinite amount of time, but long time community member tones (from mars) decided to step in and take over the hosting eventually:

"Guys (and gals..?):
Shino has delivered archives to me and I will begin to experiment locally so I can convert the forum to the discourse platform.

It will probably take me a month or two to get it together as the conversion will probably require some tinkering/research/experimentation and I will also have to consider and investigate options for hosting.

My first priority will be getting the forum back online, then we can discuss how to approach the nevertable.

I'll check out reddit and if I have anything to report I'll try to communicate it over there.

It's been a blast, see you on the other side!"

[PSA] Head over to the "Discussions" tab and click the grey "Subscribe to Forum" botton to receive a notification whenever a new discussion is created (the little envelope in the top right will turn green).
This can be done for every discussion to be notified of new posts, and this comment section as well.

Have fun and stay positive!

Well this group got more than 25 members fast. I wasn't a member of Nevercorner but I know it's closing since I recently checked to see if there were any new levels to download.

We may have burrowed undergrond for now... but I look forward to seeing tones revive it when it is ready.

I am sad nevercorner went down, my name in Neverball was or is Oddball. I still play everyday though. And I'm happy that in some form Neverball will continue.

I am glad that the community looks like it will continue beyond this setback! I've been away from the game for quite some time, but it is nice to be reminded of it! But bittersweet too with NeverCorner closing for now.

Thanks for the invite! I hope NeverBall will continue into the future for a long time!
