Metro Dark - gone with the wind

so, this thread serves merely as a legacy.

metro dark has been updated to version 4.0.1, based on latest metro version as of this writing.

differences to vanilla metro:

• it is dark, obviously!
  
• bugs out: music player
  
• colors.styles file again controls most colors

actually, it's #A0A0A0, gray. i guess, when drawn next to pure black, it looks bright white to some people.

maybe u need to check ur monitor brightness/contrast settings[www.lagom.nl].

anyways, u can always change the colors urself, at least that functionality remains in metro dark, by editing colors.styles file.

metro dark has been updated to version 4.0.3, based on latest metro version as of this writing.

differences to vanilla metro:

1. feature: it is dark, obviously!
   
2. feature: colors.styles file again controls most colors,
   
3. feature: download menu shows graphs for both download and disk activity,
   
4. feature: original skin files r kept under .bak extension,
   
5. bugfix: music library works 100% properly,
   
6. bugfix: some minor skin performance optimizations,
   
7. bugfix: proper caption buttons positioning & more like win10; tnx 2 RedSigma & K12T6,
   
8. bugfix: search bars show all typed letters, chat text fix; tnx 2 RedSigma,
   
9. bugfix: settings/account page shows offline email validation button; tnx 2 RedSigma,

Honestly use a better site or something, I can never seem to connect to your site at all.. All I ever get is "Server not found" on multiple browsers and multiple computers...

and i never had any such problems, so don't ask me what the problem is. it is a rented hosting, and i'm quite sure there's nothing wrong with it. also, my logs show ppl connecting all the time.

maybe u have something in ur setup, like a paranoid or just too lame anti-malware product, that blocks access to less-known webspace. or u use chrome, which is known to have dns issues, among many others, if i may say.

just try again, maybe it will fix itself on its own.

Can you tell me wich files did you changed so you fixed the search bars letters. Also i updated my patch and i fixed broadcast and others captions button.

I don't use any anti-malware/anti-virus/internet security products at all so that's not the issue at all, and it happens on all browsers chrome/firefox/ie/microsoft edge and it happens on 2 other computers as well, hell even my friends can't connect to your site and they are in a whole different household with different internet and don't run anti-malware/anti-virus/internet security products either.

If it was just my computer not being able to connect to your site I wouldn't complain but when I've tried it on my computer plus 2 other computers and even my friends can't connect to your site then I have a right to complain about shitty hosting.

maybe i should complain about ur shitty dns. maybe u should change ur isp, or at least use custom dns settings. same goes for the whole neighborhood, i guess. what shitty isp r u using anyway?

unfortunately, there's very little i can do about this problem. also, i have a right not to use 3rd party cloud services just so that ppl using shitty isps can access my mod. i don't have time for added maintenance, sorry.

btw, the hosting i'm using is arvixe. one of the best. and it's from us. strikes me as very odd that someone from the same country has these kind of problems, while ppl from 3rd world countries access, download and use my mod without a single reported problem. even china. go figure.
