Earlier this evening, backpack.tf completed a successful migration to the new SSD-only hardware in New Jersey. Site performance is noticeably far better despite very little tweaking, and we aim to push this further.

There is still some work to be done, however. Some services such as Pushbullet integration will not be available until later today. The item database is operational, however is still being migrated from the old servers. Thus, item history and premium search lookups may be slow for the time being.

The forums are currently being upgraded to new software. This is to address security concerns with the obsolete version of the forum software we are using, as it is vulnerable to adware attacks.

If you were connecting to the site directly via one of these addresses:

• lv1.backpack.tf
  
• lv2.backpack.tf
  
• lv3.backpack.tf

This is no longer possible. These were direct connections to the old web servers that bypassed the load balancer.
