I saw a post about it earlier but it's gone now.

I just got done playing 8 hours of the game. Finished the singleplayer in 3 hours and 5 more on multiplayer. It's a good game in some ways and not so good in others but I'm willing to stick around for the patches to start up. Any game with a THQ label rarely gets ignored like EA and Activision are notorious for (yeah I know they are all just producers).

Singleplayer will get you ready for multiplayer. A lot of you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who fell for the last 2 CODs will think it's just a bad rip off with some minor game changes. It is in fact very different though. The singleplayer plays like a COD campaign but not as flashy and neat but really it's just there for achievements and to get you ready for mp.

The multiplayer can be summed up in a few words: "TOO SMALL".
I can't tell you how many times I spawned under fire or was fortunate enough to have squad after squad spawn in front of my gun. It's garbage. The reason I think is because the maps are a little too cramped but only due to map size and/or spawn locations.

♥♥♥♥ snipers. Period. Talk about OP.

All vehicles are way over armored. You can drop 20+ RPGs into a tank to little effect and if you see a wolverine (machinegun toting battlebot) just kill yourself... you can't hurt it with AT and it takes far too many bullets. Maybe it's not the vehicles but more the RPG weakness.

Game modes are TDM and Domination basically. Gameplay is fast paced and murderously frustrating. Good rush but I'm ready to shelve it and wait for some fixes and balancing.

There is absolutely no point to squads. The game spawns you where ever it wants and you have to go track your buddies down. You can't spawn on or near them, they don't show up on the minimap differently. The only thing special is they have a blue tag as opposed to green.

Now we all know I hate every game that is ever made but I'm willing to give this a chance. I'd recommend it but if you're not super excited about it, then just wait for the inevitable Steam sale and stick to Black ♥♥♥♥♥.. I mean Ops.. Black Ops... ♥♥♥♥♥♥. :)
