Is something preventing syncing wishlists right now?

I don't use the automatic syncing, I do it manually every once in a while. I successfully synced my wishlist and collection about 2 weeks ago. Today I cleaned up my wishlist on Steam so I decided to sync again. The sycning of both my wishlist and collection have been failing for the last 5 hours. I figured failures could happen infrequently, but persistent failures over a number of hours seems unusual. Has anything changed in the last week or two that might be affecting me?

Is your Steam profile set to private? That prevents syncing.

No, it's public. I've been successfully using ITAD for years. The syncing is still failing for me today...

I seem to get 2 different errors. The first is "error initiating sync". If I wait a bit and try again I get "error during sync". Both errors pop up immediately after I click the sync button. I've turned off uBlock Origin and it didn't help. I'm using the Firefox browser.

Sorry if I'm hijacking this thread and/or replying to quite old one... but this was not too far down the list so I give it a try.

I finally tried to add my Steam wishlist for synching into ITAD, Before this I've kept my ITAD wishlist manual.

My Steam profile is public and I created separate "Steam" category on ITAD. It says "synch done x minutes ago" but nothing new is visible under "Steam" or "Default" category. When I try to synch manually, it always gives error.

Am I doing something wrong or is synching broken at the moment?

Sync is not working for me either. "An error occurred during sync"

Sync was not working, updated my profile setting to Public, before it was 'friends only'. After some minutes started working again.

Weird that for some sync works and for some not. My profile has been public for years and still not working.

Ok, found the issue. It seems that my profile was not 100% public... but now it is. I followed these instructions and sync is now working.
