Remove games from waitlist when removed from wishlist?
Is there any way to sync removals? I just removed some games I either no longer want or purchased on GOG from my Steam wishlist- is there any way to also automatically remove them from my waitlist? Or can I only sync import?

Sync will automatically remove games which were added during sync. There's a bug, that import that you initiate manually is treated as if you added games manually (e.g. from rest of the site) and these games are not removed. This will be fixed in next update.

Ok cool. It was probably one of the manually imported games that made me think it wasn't working. Thanks!

What constitutes as "import that you initiate manually"? Does the same happen when you change notification settings for entry? When i want to change notification settings for all/many games, what should i do to avoid triggering this bug?

I've changed notification settings recently (although i already forgot what steps i took exactly >_<), and noticed that after last sale, some games i bought and cleared from wishlist were not removed from ITAD waitlist. At the moment i've cleared my waitlist, and new games are added, but previous ones are not synced. I'm not sure if i should just refresh my Steam and GOG wishlists, or remove them and add again...

Right now games that are added by triggering import from Steam from ITAD are not automatically removed during sync, only those that are added by automatic sync. This bug is fixed on my dev branch and the update will go live in January, since I don't want to publish big changes before winter sale

Does removing wishlists and adding them back again counts as import triggered from ITAD? If so, is there any workaround we could use before the update?

I have to admit I'm not entirely sure right now

Has this bug been fixed? I still seem to be experiencing it. I removed a lot of games from my Steam wishlist a couple of weeks ago, but they still appear on my ITAD waitlist even after forcing ITAD to sync. I have never added anything to my ITAD waitlist manually (unless forcing a sync counts as manual).

Yes, that is fixed, but it will work only for games that you remove from now. Games that are in your Waitlist and no longer in your Steam wishlist will stay, because ITAD doesn't know about the "link" between them.

The way it works now is that each time a sync adds a game it will save info about the profile from which it was added - you can see that in the Waitlist when you open info for the entry. When during sync ITAD finds that a game is removed from wishlist, it looks at link and if the entry is not linked with any other profile it will remove it.

When you run sync now, ITAD will create these links even for games that you already have in Waitlist from old imports, but it obviously can't create link for games you already removed.

You have two choices now. If you have modified your Waitlist in some way (manually changing settings for games in Waitlist), the safest option will be to just remoev them one by one. If you didn't, you can clear your Waitlist completely (there's an option in the menu) and sync it back.

Thanks for the info and for the update. Opted to clear and re-sync.

Is this still working with the new wishlist format on Steam? Tried removing some games and synced and nothing showed in the log.

New wishlist format has no effect on this. Can you tell me step by step what you were trying to do?

I removed a game or two from my wishlist and it didn't have any effect when syncing the waitlist. Maybe it will work after I cleared the waitlist and reimported it.

Yep, just removed a game and it synced over. Never mind, sorry.
