New Steam Labs Functions vs. Augmented Steam Plugin

So I just noticed something and not sure if this was always happening or not, could just be due to me not paying attention.

Here is what I'm doing and what I noticed happening, could be the category I'm viewing but I will check the other game categories and confirm if the same thing happens or not.

This example I'm using the Free 2 Play category, I go to this page and then click on Browse All Items

I then sort by lowest price, I know it's the F2P category but I'm used to sorting this way.

I then HIDE all items in my library and then scroll down and use the GAMES tag to filter out the DLC listings.

So before clicking on this last filter the count was above 4100 items, with the tag filter it now showing a count of 2581.

So here is where the rub comes into play, as soon as I click from PAGE 1 to PAGE 2 the count jumps to 39053 like the category filter is NO LONGER being used.

Any ideas on this one ?

Is there some kind of compatibility issue between what has been recently added from the Steam Labs side and the AS plugin ?

More Info: I have confirmed it is ONLY affecting the Free 2 Play category.

I tried both the Action and the Adventure categories and both had the same fixed count when using the same tag filters.

I have not tried that yet, since the other categories don't behave this way I wan't sure it was related or not.

I will test this out and report my findings.

Here are my findings:

With the AS plugin disabled the Free 2 Play category works fine using only the Steam Labs options, the count stays the same when going from page 1 to page two etc, I even went to page 10 to see if anything changed, the count stayed the same.

I even checked if it is caused by sorting from Lowest Price rather then the default of Release Date, with the AS plugin disabled it still worked properly.

Once I enabled the AS plugin then the count immediately changed.

Currently running on Chrome Version 80.0.3987.122 (Official Build) (64-bit)
