Any way to get an RSS feed/notification for the free game giveaways on Steam or GOG?

People ask here and there if there is some way to get notified when Steam gives away a game for free if you install it. (not a free weekend)
GOG does similar stuff like the 48h giveaway they are doing now: https://www.gog.com/game/deadlight_directors_cut
Would be nice to be notified by ITAD when this happens even if the game isn't on your watchlist.

Can this be done somehow? The only way I can see is the giveaways part of the specials, but that doesn't seem made for one-game deals on Steam or GOG right? Maybe all games with the price of free should show up there automatically?

I was about to create a giveaway special for deadlight but then I saw the last "What not to cover" rule and didn't create it.

It all depends on what can our tracker parse - and that depends on how will Steam show these free games on the store.
